“Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.” John 3:7
Born again does not mean being forced into a mold and losing your own personality. The Lord Jesus Christ said that He came to give us life more abundantly. John 10:10 ”The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
1 Peter 2:1 & 2 ”Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:” And I sincerely hope that you’ll read the Mighty Book for yourself, and think it through for yourself. The pulpit pounders don’t read it much. And when they make a public spectacle, yelling “The Bible says . . . “, they’re not trying to nourish you on the love of God. They’re doing what He warned against in Exodus 23:19, Ex. 34:26 & Deuteronomy 14:21 = do not seethe the kid in his mother’s milk. Spiritually speaking, “But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.” Galatians 4:26
John 5:24 ”Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” And again, Romans 8:1 ”There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” So why do religious talkers condemn?
